Hope College Department of Computer Science ("us", "we", or "our") is responsible for the TreeSap mobile application (the "App").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
We use the data gathered in the App to provide access to App tree data and improve the App itself. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
While using our App, we may ask you to provide us with certain information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). This information is only:

Tree Location Data
When you add trees to the database, they are sent to curators for approval. Tree location data (GPS) accompanies the approval request, so curators can examine the tree if necessary.
Tracking & Cookies Data
We do not use or track cookies.
Use of Data
The App accesses the collected data only to provide accurate tree data to our curators.
Transfer Of Data
Tree information is transferred to a secure database maintained by Google. You login information is transferred to a secure database maintained by Google.

The security of your data is important to us, and is maintained by Google.
Children's Privacy
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").
We do not knowingly obtain information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected data from children without verification of parental consent, we will remove that information.
